Alli Owens, who resides in the Daytona Beach area and competes on the ARCA RE/MAX Series, visited the Daytona 500 Experience, and took on the local media as well as Daytona International Speedway President Robin Braig and Daytona 500 Experience General Manager Kim Isemann in the attraction's new ARCA Driver Development Program Simulator.
In the first race, Owens took the checkered flag against Braig and Isemann. But in the last lap of the second race, RacingOne's Jeff Wackerlin took the high line in Turn 4 around Owens and another media member on his way to the checkered flag. As Jeff took the win, he had a rear view mirror full of two spinning cars as Owens and the other media member made contact.
